Copihue in the Mediterranean 2022

Copihue arrived back from the Carribbean in Spring 2021 and has since been based in Gibraltar, a fantastic location which enables easy access to the Med. This summer will be spent cruising Sardinnia, Corsica and the Balearic islands.

Copihue has spent the winter months in the Balk Shipyard in Holland, where she underwent a major overhaul of her navigation and computer equipment by replacing the previous with the latest B&G hardware.

New standing rigging, new hydraulic Reckmann furlers, a hull respray and new varnish topsides means Copihue is looking and performing her best, sleek and gleaming, ready for the next few years of cruising.

Copihue in the UK for 2019

From April 2019 Copihue will be back in her home port of Southampton UK for the next 12 months. She will be available for day or weekly charters in the Solent/ south of England/north and west coast of France.

Copihue cruising 2018

2018 has been another busy year for Copihue. Early summer was spent off the south coast of France before crossing the Mediterranean to cruise Italy; first Rome, then Naples and the Amalfi Coast. As the summer came to a close Copihue began her westward journey, destination Caribbean, via Gibraltar and Lanzarote.

Copihue cruises New England summer ’17

After an extensive refit at the Balk shipyard in Holland during the summer of ’16, Copihue spent the winter season in the Caribbean cruising between Antigua and Grenada. She will now be heading north to take part in the Newport RI Charter Boat Show in June, and will be available for charter over the summer from New York or Newport.

Copihue will be heading over to the Balk Shipyard in Holland in February for a major refit.

She will be getting a complete hull respray, new engine, new teak deck and air conditioning in the master cabin fitted to make her ready for the Caribbean charter season of winter 2016 and the following summer season in New England where she will be based in Newport, Rhode Island.

Copihue in Gibraltar June ’15

Copihue has had a successful winter season in the Caribbean where she has been cruising mostly in the US and British Virgin Islands. She is now in Gibraltar after a leisurely sail across the Atlantic, stopping at Bermuda and the Azores en route.

Copihue arrives in Antigua in time for the Charter Yacht Show, December’14

Copihue left the Canaries in early November, arriving in Antigua after a 17 day sail across the Atlantic in near perfect conditions. She will be showing in the Antigua Charter Yacht Show, which takes place between 6th-10th December at both the English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour marinas and signals the start of the Caribbean charter season.

Copihue will set sail for the Canary Islands, October’14

Copihue will be setting off for the first leg of her Caribbean tour at the end of September, destination Lanzarote. Here we will take advantage of the dry weather to revarnish her teaklined cockpit, before heading out across the Atlantic to the Caribbean.

Copihue has just returned from cruising around the beautiful coastline of Portugal. A four day sail took us from Southampton to Leixoes, near Porto, from where we made our way down the Atlantic coast and then along to the Algarve .
